This week the contractor has been working on the following:
- Installation of the Slough Culvert and other culverts on Kalum Road West.
- General clean up, and driveway tie-in to the newly placed asphalt pavement
Next week the contractor will continue to complete general clean up and driveway tie ins throughout the community. The contractor will also work on the following tasks:
- Installing the storm drain across the road from the Water Treatment Plant; and
- Preparing for the Sanitary Sewer upgrades along West Kalum Road.
The contractor will be operating large equipment as they work on the storm drain across from the WTP. Additionally, large trucks will be travelling along Kalum Road West as the contractor completes the slough culvert works. Traffic through the slough crossing will be reduced to a single lane and there may be short delays as the contractor maneuvers equipment around the area. The contractor will have flaggers on either side of the work zones to direct traffic.
