We are excited to announce that Kitsumkalum Emergency Services will be hosting a Type Two Wildland Firefighter Training from July 13th to 19th. The training will run daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This training is a valuable opportunity for community members and people from the surrounding areas to learn essential firefighting skills and contribute to the safety and well-being of our region. With the increasing frequency of wildland fires, having a well-prepared and trained team is more important than ever.

Participants will receive comprehensive training that includes both classroom instruction and hands-on exercises. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience, learn from a skilled instructor, and make a meaningful contribution to our community’s emergency response capabilities.
