Kitsumkalum Engagement Team
The Kitsumkalum First Nation Treaty Team is no accepting resumes from individuals who may be interested in being a part of the Kitsumkalum Treaty Engagement Team. The purpose of the Treaty Engagement Team will be to provide members and eligible members with the information they need to make an informed decision on the ratification of both the Kitsumkalum Constitution and the Kitsumkalum Treaty.
The Engagement Team may consist of representatives residing in the following locations:
- Terrace
- Prince Rupert
- Vancouver
- Lower Mainland
- Vancouver Island
Interested applicants must have their own cell phone and a drivers license.
- Engagement Team members will receive training on the Constitution and Treaty.
- Team members must be serious about this commitment, bring critical thinking skills, and be able to make decisions in a timely manner.
- Team members should be a good communicator both for listening and speaking.
- Team members must have a Nation-building mindset that is flexible, cooperative, inclusive, and strategic.
- Engagement Team members will be paid $18.00/hour as a contractor (this is not a staffed position) plus expenses. Travel claim sheets will be provided.
- The time commitment for this role will vary and can be up to 21/hours a week.
- Must be a Kitsumkalum First Nation member.
- Must be over the age of 18 years old.
- Engagement Team Member must be in good standing with the Nation.
- The successful Team Members will have a desire and interest to meet with other members of Kitsumkalum.

Duties of Engagement Team:
- Gain knowledge on the Constitution and Treaty
- Conduct home visits with members and eligible members
- Provide the Eligible Voters with timely, fact-based information that allows them to make informed decisions
- Respond in a timely fashion to information requests and questions from the Eligible Voters
- Communicate Share what happens between now and vote day (all the work that needs to happen)
- Communicate Explain the Ratification process
- Allow Eligible Voters to either share in or understand decisions made by the Treaty Team
- And other related duties
