Kitsumkalum Brotherhood for Men’s Wellness

“Welcoming brothers from the community to sit as a group and discuss future events and gatherings– such as land-based teachings, including:
- Gathering cultural medicine
- Gathering cedar strips for in-group hat and bracelet making
- Seasonal harvesting (fishing, hunting)
- Harvest preservation (smoking, canning, drying)
- Planning yearly men’s group workshops and inviting others to join the brotherhood
- Invite elders and/or knowledge holders to share with the group
A space for men, by men– supporting each other. It’s about building friendships, offering a helping hand, and learning from our elders.
Come join us to brainstorm ideas for future meetings and outings, and share cultural skills and teachings.
All men 15 years and older are welcome to attend.
