At OneFeather, we believe in supporting the next generation of community leaders.
The OneFeather Community Impact Bursary is an annual opportunity for students and community members from Nations using OneFeather to receive financial support for education or training.
This bursary is here to help you follow your goals and bring your learning back to your community.
Bursary Amounts
Each year, OneFeather provides $5,000 in total funding.
For 2026, we will award:
- One bursary of $2,500
- Two bursaries of $1,250
Who Can Apply?
You are eligible to apply if:
- Your Nation is an active OneFeather customer when you apply
- You are graduating Grade 12, or have already completed Grade 12
- You meet the requirements to enter your post-secondary, continuing education or training program
What You Need to Submit
Your application includes three parts: an essay, a short video, and (optional) letters of support.
1. A Short Essay (300-500 words)
Your essay should introduce you and explain:
- The area of study or training you’re interested in
- Why you are pursuing this education or training
- What you plan to do with it once you complete your program
- Why you need financial support
- How you plan to give back to or support your community in the future
Your essay should also show your community involvement or service.
2. A short video (about 30-60 seconds)
Your video should:
- Introduce who you are
- Share your connection to or experience with OneFeather
- Show family or community support for your submission if possible
3. Optional Letters of Recommendation
You may include letters of recommendation or community support with your essay, if you choose.

Deadline: April 30, 2026
Recipients announced: June 2026
