The contractors for the road, drainage and paving project will be off site from Friday, July 2nd through to Sunday, July 4th for the long weekend. Construction will resume on Monday, July 5th. Next week they are focusing on ditch clearing and grubbing along West Kalum Road up to the Band Office, and will also be working on driveway culvert replacements. The contractor will be sure to talk with the homeowners prior to the driveway culvert works to ensure that their vehicles do not get blocked in.
