Individuals advertising firewood sales do not have permits, permission or a license to cut trees on reserve or to sell firewood set aside for Kitsumkalum members.
Firewood log piles located in Kitsumkalum are for Kitsumkalum members and are not for sale.
The RCMP have been notified of the false advertising to sell firewood from Kitsumkalum and will be called upon to intervene.
