To celebrate the Port of Prince Rupert’s support for My Mountain Co-Op, PoPR is presenting a Kids Ski and Ride Free Day at Shames Mountain on Saturday, January 19. This day offers all kids 12 and under to free lift tickets, free lessons and $10 rentals.
Through PoPR’s Community Investment Fund (CIF), over $9 million dollars has been dedicated to various organizations in Prince Rupert and surrounding communities, including My Mountain Co-op (MMC). The most recent investment to MMC was $50,000 towards purchasing a new Snowcat Snow Machine for Shames Mountain.
If you and your family want to join in on this fun day, please head to Shames Mountain on January 19 where staff will be happy to set your kids up for the day.
