Please reduce your water usage until further notice.
Kitsumkalum Operations and Maintenance is still investigating the cause of the water loss in the community. The Kitsumkalum water reservoir was down to a quarter capacity this morning. Sixty thousand litres of water was lost overnight. We need to keep enough water in the reservoir to carry out firefighting for one hour.
- For this weekend, please keep your water hoses OFF to give the reservoir a chance to refill.
- If you have a leaking faucet or toilet and need help fixing it, please call the Band Office at 250-635-6177
