📣 Upcoming May Workshops – Fisheries Knowledge Transfer Program
Kitsumkalum Fish & Wildlife are putting together several courses and workshops this May that may be of interest to community members!
These opportunities are part of our Fisheries Knowledge Transfer Program, so spots will be prioritized for those participating in the fisheries. However, there should also be additional spaces available for interested community members.

⚓ Net Mending Workshop
May 1, 2 & 3
📍 Kitsumkalum Hall
Hands-on training focused on how to mend and repair fishing nets.
🚤 Jet Boat Safety Training
May 9 – Classroom learning at Sunshine Inn and Suites
May 10 – In-river boat safety checks
🛠 Bench Construction Workshop
May 23 & 24
Participants will build their own bench to support net mending at home.
Space is limited to the first 15 participants.
