As we await the final official results from OneFeather, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank everyone who participated in this important election.
Congratulations to the incumbents who have been re-elected. Your continued leadership and dedication to serving the community are greatly valued.
Congratulations to the newly elected candidates who are stepping into these important roles. We look forward to your contributions and the perspectives you will bring to the table.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the outgoing council members for their service, hard work, and commitment. Your efforts have made a meaningful impact, and we thank you for your time and dedication to the community.
A special thank you to all candidates who put their names forward in this election. Running for office requires commitment, courage, and a strong desire to serve, and your willingness to contribute to the community is truly commendable.
We also take this time to honour and remember the late Hereditary Chief and late Chief Councillor, Don T. Roberts, who dedicated many years of his life to serving as Chief. His leadership, wisdom, and commitment to the community left a lasting impact. He is deeply missed and fondly remembered.
We are also pleased to share that voter participation increased by 27.7% from the last election—an encouraging sign of growing community engagement.
