Drug Alert for Prince George, as there has been a recent increase in overdose events in the community.
There has been a significant increase in overdose events resulting from two distinct substances. Substance one is being sold as “down,” is a light brown/beige colour and has been causing prolonged sedation, breathing difficulties, strange behavior, and blackouts. The second substance is purple and has also been linked to overdoses.
