1 year temporary assignment available in Prince George
The Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation has an excellent 1 year temporary assignment opportunity in the First Nations relations field as a Project Leader in Prince George. Reporting to the Omineca Regional Manager, this role provides leadership in the development and delivery of innovative reconciliation and engagement strategies with First Nations including the initiation, negotiation and implementation of cross-ministry agreements with First Nations and collaboration with stakeholders and natural resource ministries/agencies.
Join us as Project Leader and play a central role in addressing First Nation and stakeholder issues that affect the natural resource-based ministries and agencies. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual with a comprehensive understanding of BC First Nations culture and the collaboration and conflict resolution skills needed to work with diverse groups and competing interests. Drawing on your experience, you will lead the initiation, negotiation and implementation of cross-ministry agreements and develop innovative engagement strategies to advance job creation and economic diversification.
