Summary of Responsibilities
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking to fill a part-time position in our temporary store front office located in downtown Prince Rupert. The position is part of the proposed Prince Rupert Propane terminal project on Watson Island, and is responsible for sharing project information and collecting feedback from the general public and interested stakeholders. This is a temporary position of approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension.
- Reception duties
o Greet clients, visitors and industry personnel in person and over the telephone;
o Provide up-to-date project information to the general public and interested stakeholders;
o Communicates effectively to understand and document feedback/concerns regarding project;
o Create a welcoming environment for guests, including maintaining the reception area, ensuring refreshments are stocked and the waiting area is tidy and organized;
o Follow security protocols and practices when admitting external visitors;
o Manage conference room meeting requests and calendar updates; and
o Assist with catering deliveries and set-up. - Administrative Support
o Photocopying;
o Word processing support;
o File maintenance;
o Data entry; and
o Other duties and projects as assigned.Qualifications
• Strong Microsoft Office skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Friendly and approachable with very strong customer service skills;
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries/feedback from internal/external stakeholders and the general public;
Mature and able to remain composed when dealing with the public;
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities; and
• Minimum of 2+ years demonstrated customer service experience.
*Anticipated hours of work will be as follows:
Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Saturday, Noon to 4:00 pm
