2025-2026 School Supply Supplement
Starts July 2nd
Ends August 26th
ELIGIBILITY:
All children and youth, who are PRE-REGISTERED to attend a Grades K-12 school AND reside in Kitsumkalum with a permanent home-address, are eligible to apply for this grant.
Child/ren must be pre-registered in the following school districts:
- Coast Mountain School District 82, and/or
- Francophone School District 93, and/or
- Private School, and/or
- BC Distance or Online Education, and/or
- BC Home-schooled child/ren
KALUM’S K-12 SCHOOL SUPPLY SUPPLEMENT DEADLINES:
AUGUST 12 & 26, 2025! APPLY EARLY!
The 1st batch of applications will be processed on Tues, AUGUST 12th, 2025. The FINAL batch will be processed on Tues, AUGUST 26th, 2025. Early applications are encouraged!

WHERE TO APPLY:
School Supply Supplement Applications can be found hanging on the Kitsumkalum Education Office door from Mon.-Fri office hours 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (closed from 12:00-12:30 pm and not open on holidays). Please put your completed applications in the DROP-
OFF basket on the Education Dept. door or leave with the receptionist.
Please ensure that you have registered your Direct-Deposit-Bank Information with Kalum’s Finance Dept. or attach it to your application.
SORRY, THERE ARE EXCLUSIONS or INELIGIBLE STUDENTS:
Please DO NOT APPLY if your child/ren…
1. ARE NOT Pre-registered in a school.
2. ARE REGISTERED to attend NAGK because NAGK purchases its own school supplies for their students, and/or
2. DO NOT LIVE IN KITSUMKALUM.
Children who live in town, live off-reserve, and/or have no permanent address in Kitsumkalum are not eligible. This is a Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) grant and only students on the NOMINAL ROLL are eligible.
If you are not eligible, please contact your nearest Family-centered Non-Profit for help, i.e., Kermode Friendship Society, Women’s Centre, the school Principal, etc.
